What a lark, what a plunge! But also what an honor to be asked to open the Fridays at Five Author Series 2016 by the wonderful Anne Marshall and Cathie Gandel, co-Presidents of the Friends of the Hampton Library; a beloved literary tradition in the Hamptons for the past thirty years. And furthermore to be interviewed by fellow Mrs Dalloway fan and all-around brilliant journalist, the award-winning Bonnie Grice, of wppb, Long Island’s only NPR affiliate, only added to what was truly a wonderful experience, by far the highlight of my writing career thus far. I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who came to watch Bonnie and I discuss all things hurricanes, Hamptons and high society.
